No Gurus. Three Brothers.
The idea for Men's Academy arrived as a prayer during a vision quest. Alex, Miguel and Pedro were already co-creating events. The next step was not to pick a frontman. It was to formalise what was already true: three men walking side by side as brothers, facilitators, and partners.
That choice is the brand. Everything else grows from it.
The problem with the guru
A single charismatic leader can fill a room. He can also quietly train men to outsource their authority. When the work is about masculine maturity, that is a contradiction we will not live inside.
Gurus create followers. Homes create peers. Followers are useful to an ego. Peers are useful to a life.
We are not anti-teacher. We are anti-pedestal. Guidance is real. Hierarchy of skill is real. Worship is not part of the contract.
What a triad makes possible
Three different bodies, three histories, three ways of seeing a man in the circle. What one of us misses, another will not. Disagreement happens in the open instead of in the shadow of a founder.
It also models the thing we ask of every participant: stay in relationship when it would be easier to dominate or disappear. Integrity, presence, authenticity, those values are cheap on a wall and expensive in a partnership. We practice them on each other first.
What this asks of you
Do not come looking for a man who will tell you who you are. Come looking for a room that will not look away while you find out.
Read the faces. Listen to how we speak about one another. If you need a saviour, you will feel the lack of one immediately. That feeling is information. It is also the beginning of the work. Sit in a men's circle. Come to The Call of the Ancestors. Foundational Training holds the weeks between. Facilitator Training is the long path of holding, without becoming a guru. Book a call.
