Men's retreat Germany

Men's retreat Germany, as this house holds it: three days in the Bergisches Land, circle, body, and the line you came from. The name is Zurück zu den Wurzeln. The dates are 3–5 September 2027. The language is German. Alex Wirthl holds it. A men's weekend retreat in NRW, not a copy of Portugal.

Men's retreat Germany: place, dates, language

The house is Brunnenhaus Wermelskirchen, In der Aue 2, 42929 Wermelskirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia. It is rented whole: forest, a seminar room, meals cooked in the house, a barrel sauna. The container is for 16 to 22 men. You arrive from 16:00 on Friday 3 September. You leave by 12:00 on Sunday 5 September. This is the second edition. In September 2024 we sat in circle in Germany. This is not the same building. It is the same root.

Back to the roots does not mean back into the past. It means taking, with awareness, what carries you, and not passing on what is not yours. That is ancestral work for men, held closer to home for the men who will not fly to Portugal this year.

What it is not

• It is not a holiday with a talking circle added on.
• It is not a guru weekend. One man holds it, inside a house of three brothers, not on a pedestal.
• It is not a copy of the Portugal intensive. The land is different. The language is the language of the room.
• It is not therapy, and it is not a substitute if you are in crisis.

After the Sunday

The weekend is not the whole path. Die Wurzeln is nine Mondays online, in German, after this intensive, for the man who wants the weeks and not only the fire. A men's circle also meets every month, in German on the first Wednesday. Facilitation for the retreat is a sliding scale. Room and meals are separate. The current numbers live on the Germany page, not in a guess. Book a call. We look at fit both ways. If the Atlantic is the honest door instead, the men's retreat in Portugal is The Call of the Ancestors, 25–29 November 2026, at Monte Velho.
