What is a men's circle?

A men's circle is a small group of men who meet to speak in the first person. Nobody fixes the man across from him. Advice is cheap. Witness is the medicine. That is the whole practice, and it is harder than it sounds.

What a men's circle is not

It is not a lecture, a mastermind, or a place where one man performs insight for the others. It is not therapy, and it is not a guru sitting at the front. Men's work in a circle asks for your life, not your theory of your life.

What actually happens

• You arrive on time. The phone stays out.
• You speak from the I. No advice unless a man asks, and even then the room is slow.
• What is said stays in the circle. Confidentiality is the door, not a slogan.
• The circle is sober. A clear nervous system can tell the truth.

You do not need the vocabulary. You need a willingness to tell the truth and stay after you have told it.

Where Men's Academy holds a circle

English online, the second Wednesday of the month, 19:00 Portuguese time. German online, the first Wednesday, 20:00 German time. In the room in Lagos, the third Wednesday, 16:30 Portuguese time.
